He is an advisory council member for multiple industry manufacturers such as Honeywell, Johnson Controls, Distech, and Tridium. Scott is a co-editor of AutomatedBuildings.com, an advisory board member at Realcomm/IBcon, and the Executive Chairman for Controls-Con.

Victor Abelairas is the General Manager of Tridium, a Honeywell company. He is leveraging Tridium's heritage, along with new product innovation and business development initiatives, to enable the Niagara Community in solving our customers' toughest challenges. Victor joined Honeywell in 2018 as part of the founding team for Honeywell Connected Enterprise, where he served as its Commercial Excellence Leader for three years. In this role, he led the commercial transformation efforts around go-to-market models, training, and salesforce effectiveness. Prior to joining Honeywell, he held increasingly responsible roles at Intel and General Electric, using his combination of Industrial and software experience to drive growth.

Tom is the Manager of Digital Business Development for Belimo Americas, a global market leader in developing, producing, and selling HVAC field devices. He leads a team responsible for supporting the growth of valves, actuators and sensors that harness smart and/or connected capabilities. His primary focus is guiding development of the services and APIs that compliment these connected products through relationships with industry peers and technology partners. As an SME for control applications, Tom uses the extensive application knowledge gained through his 17 years on the construction side of the building automation industry. He is passionate about leveraging technology to improve occupant comfort while reducing a building's energy footprint. Tom is an active member of the CABA board of directors and holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Northwestern University.
